I had dinner with a few friends recently and had a funny realization: even in a crowd, things rarely go unheard. Here’s what I mean…In the midst of a spirited conversation, there's a lot going on. A lot being said. A lot to be heard. So, sometimes you'll chime in but get the feeling it got lost in the mix.For example, at one point during that dinner conversation, I threw in my two cents and felt like nobody had heard it.No big deal. It happens. But then I noticed that one friend had heard it and appreciated my input. That got me thinking: things rarely ever go unheard, even in a busy and buzzing conversation. And the same holds true for content marketing: the internet feels like a crowded and saturated place sometimes. It can feel like your content will just get lost in the mix, so why bother? But you don't necessarily need everyone at the table (or on the internet) to hear what you said.As long as one person heard it and it mattered to them, it was worthwhile. So, remember: things rarely ever go unheard. Be thoughtful in your contribution. Focus on speaking to one person—your ideal member. If you connect with them, you're golden. If other people appreciate it too, even better.I work with coworking operators from across North America to craft and implement content strategies that deliver results.
