How to create an eBook

If you're looking for ways to generate new leads, you might want to consider creating an eBook.

Also known as gated content, eBooks are comprehensive resources that people can download in exchange for providing you with their contact info--generally an email address.

To create one, you'll need to spend some time focusing on “hub and spoke” content--a number of articles pertaining to one specific topic--and then creating your eBook from them.

For instance, this could be an eBook focused on how to build a remote team that includes specific relevant articles pertaining to things like:

  • Remote hiring best practices
  • Remote onboarding tips
  • Tools and strategies for managing remote teams
  • Finding the right workspace for remote employees

Once the articles are written, compile them into a cohesive document, get it professionally designed and branded, and turn it into “gated content”: a resource that people can download in exchange for their contact information.
